How is a Modular Home Delivered? When a mobile home is delivered, it can be quite a sight. A big rig pulls up, and suddenly your new home emerges from the back of it. To some people, that’s more than a little exciting. But how does the delivery process work? As with most things the answer is much simpler than you might think. Read along to learn more about mobile home delivery.

A few days before your home is delivered we will contact you with an estimated time of delivery. The homeowner must be present at the time of delivery.

Best Buy’s trucking team will plan the route and take care of authorizations for transport, so you need not worry about those details. We will plan the method of delivering the home based on challenges and information we have from your site preparation worksheet.
Before and After Your Modular Home Delivery
PRE DELIVERY
Before the home leaves our display center or factory lot, your home or transport specialist will complete a pre-delivery inspection. They will note any deficiencies and make sure that you have everything needed to move in. At this time, they will also secure all movable items.
DURING DELIVERY
During transport, it is not uncommon for minor deficiencies to develop. While we use the best air-ride technology to ensure your home has the smoothest and gentlest possible ride, due to normal flex in the structure, it is not unusual for cracks to occur in the ceiling, walls and even sometimes windows.
POST DELIVERY
Once the home has been delivered by our transport team a post-delivery inspection will be scheduled shortly after your utilities are connected .
During this visit, you along with one of our service team members will walk the inside and outside of your home. We will take note of any deficiencies, and our service team member will make????every effort to correct all the deficiencies during that visit.
In some cases, the service team member may not have the necessary parts or supplies to a proper repair. In this case, he will make a return trip later to finish any repairs.
UNEXPECTED DELAYS
There are a number of factors involved when preparing to move and deliver a modular home. Even with all the planning and preparations, unexpected delays can occur. While we do everything in our power to ensure a smooth experience, the following factors will delay us in delivering your home:
